Starting Operation
- Make sure that you are able to press the On/Off switch without releasing the handle.
Push the toggle switch (1) to the I position.
To switch on the power tool, press the on/off switch (6) and keep it pressed.
To lock the on/off switch, press and hold it while also pressing the locking mechanism (7).
The worklight (16) lights up when the on/off switch (6) is lightly or fully pressed, allowing the work area to be illuminated in poor lighting conditions.
To switch off, release the on/off switch (6). If the on/off switch is locked, press the switch first and then release it. Also push the toggle switch (1) to the 0 position to prevent the power tool from being switched on unintentionally.
Press the on/off switch (6) and lock it by pressing the locking mechanism (7).
To switch on the power tool, push the toggle switch (1) to the I position.
When the power tool is switched on, the worklight (16) lights up and illuminates the work area in poor lighting conditions.
To switch off the power tool, push the toggle switch (1) to the 0 position. Also press the on/off switch (6) to release the locking mechanism and to prevent the power tool from being switched on unintentionally.
You can also preselect the blade speed and change it during operation using the thumbwheel (5).

Freehand operation: You can also variably adjust the speed of the bandsaw blade by pressing in the on/off switch (6) to varying extents. With the on/off switch (6) locked, the power tool works at the preselected blade speed.
The required blade speed depends on the material and the working conditions; it can be ascertained through practical tests.
