Switching the Pendulum On and Off

The orbital action allows for optimal adaptation of cutting speed, cutting capacity and cutting pattern to the material being machined.

If possible, change the pendulum setting before switching on the power tool.

Switch the pendulum on when working in soft and medium-strength materials (e.g. lightweight materials, insulation materials, softwood, other wood, as well as non-ferrous metals, hardwood and plastic).
To do so, turn the pendulum rotary switch (5) in the direction.

Switch the pendulum off for clean cut edges as well as for working in thin or hard materials (e.g. sheet metal, steel).
To do so, turn the pendulum rotary switch (5) in the direction.
