Assembly Instructions for Sawing in a Fixed Position (see figures I−L)
- Secure the saw table on a stable, even and horizontal surface (e.g. a workbench). If there is a chance that the saw table will slip or wobble, the power tool cannot be operated safely.
Fitting the saw table (see figure I): Screw the saw table tight to the work surface using suitable screws through the three mounting holes (29).
Fitting the power tool (see figures J−K): Lock the tool arm (25) in the lower position see Locking/Loosening the Tool Arm (see figure M). Screw the power tool (with the bandsaw blade installed) tight to the tool arm (25) of the saw table using the two fastening screws (34). Screw in the adjusting screw (27) with the hex key (40) until the screw is in contact with the power tool.
Aligning the bandsaw blade (see figure L): If the bandsaw blade is not aligned perpendicular to the saw table, loosen the two setscrews (26) with the hex key (40) for the saw table. Swivel the tool arm (25) such that the bandsaw blade is perpendicular and retighten the two setscrews (26).
